April  is the Floralies-- spring having arrived, which turns Tillac into a colourful plant market, including our local nursery Gersfleurs who have helped us make the most of our little patch

May  - the Vide Grenier (empty your attic) is the French equivalent of the English car boot sale
In June there is also the music festival held in the street which we unfortunately missed

The highlight of our summer visit is always the village fête at the end of July, which involves 2 days of activities starting with a concert in the church and included the boules competition, the mechoui (traditional meal) for 300 people on tables set out under the arcade finishing with a band and fireworks.
